Google Pixel 2 Xl camera review (Shot on Pixel 2 XL): The Pixel 2 Xl comes with a 12.2 MP primary camera with a f/1.8 aperture, OIS support, PDAF as well as laser autofocus, dual-LED flash and 1/2.6" sensor size, 1.4 uM pixel size, supports upto 4K video @30 fps and slow motion videos 720p @ 240 fps.

The secondary camera has an 8 MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1/3.2" sensor size and 1.4 uM pixel size, it supports upto 1080p @30 fps videos.

PROS:

Excellent image quality.

Sharp photos with consistent focus.

Amazing contrast.

Bokeh effect is very consistent.

Amazing low light performance.

CONS:

OIS goes overboard sometimes and footage comes out very jittery which looks unnatural.

The superb contrast sometimes takes out the natural feel from a photograph making it look artificial or edited.
