Sony Xperia XZ camera review (Shot on Xperia XZ): The Sony Xperia XZ comes with a 23 MP primary camera with support for upto 4K recording. PROS & CONS IN THE DESCRIPTION. The Xperia XZ comes with a 1/2.3" sensor size, f/2.0 aperture, gyroscope based Electronic Image stabilization, both phase detection and laser autofocus, LED flash, 1/2.3" sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and is capable of shooting upto 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, 1080p@60fps.

The device comes with a 13 MP secondary camera which has a f/2.0 aperture, has 1/3" sensor size and also supports HDR images.

Watch on as I test the camera under various conditions and here are the pros and cons of the Sony Xperia XZ camera:

PROS-

EIS works well in most conditions resulting in stable shots even when taken from hand.

4K video recording works nice.

Selfie camera takes great photos but colour reproduction is a little flat.

CONS-

The primary camera images are all too unnatural looking when zoomed in as too much sharpness is present.

While shooting a video sometimes focus locks on an object and even if you change the subject it takes some time to regain the focus.

Low light performance is still not upto the mark.

Colours look washed out in some lighting conditions.
