ASUS Zenfone 3 camera review 4K (Shot on Zenfone 3): The ASUS Zenfone 3 comes with a 16 MP primary and an 8 MP secondary camera. The primary camera is 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture, laser/phase detection auto focus, OIS (4-axis), dual-LED (dual tone) flash and supports 2160p 4K UHD recording. It supports time lapse videos upto 5 seconds gap for 1 frame. It also supports 4x slow motion but the slow motion implementation is bad as slow motion videos had only 15 fps frame rate.

The long exposure shots I took were particularly great to capture. Manual mode is great on this phone. Here's a full list of PROS and CONS for the ASUS Zenfone 3 camera:

PROS:

1.) 4K HD video recording is quite clear

2.) Great low light performance

3.) Auto HDR is supported in videos too

4.) OIS works pretty good

5.) The front camera is also quite clear

6.) No. of modes and options is amazing

7.) Manual mode works great and long exposure shots are possible

CONS

1.) Still picture quality isn't flagship class

2.) Slow motion videos aren't that smooth because frame rate is quite low
