Xiaomi Redmi 3s camera review (SHOT ON REDMI 3s): The Xiaomi Redmi 3s comes with a 13 MP camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus and a 5 MP primary camera. This is a camera review to showcase the shooting capabilities of the Redmi 3s smartphone. It's capable of shooting a maximum of 1080p HD videos. In terms of extra shooting features it has a HDR mode, Timelapse video recording support etc. Here's a detailed list of pros and cons of this camera:

PROS:

The camera can take really good bokeh shots of close objects.

Brightness and saturation in daylight is quite good.

CONS:

The camera's auto focus is all over the place i.e. the camera has a hard time locking focus when shooting moving objects or even taking little pans.

Even the slightest of shakes can render images blurry.

Low light performance is not great.

Video recording modes are very limited with no support for slow motion videos or 60 fps video.

HDR mode tends to overexpose details.
