Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review, hands on, initial impressions

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the latest smartphone from Samsung's stables. The Note 5 has an all metal and all glass design which borrows its design sense heavily from the previous S6 an S6 Edge by Samsung. The phone comes with a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 2560x1440 pixels at an astounding pixel density of 518 ppi. It comes with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and has a 14 nm Octa core Exynos processor.

The rear camera is 16 MP Optical image stabilisation enabled and the front camera is a 5 MP camera. It comes with a 3000 mAh battery and is capable of fast charging via wired as well as wireless solutions.

It weighs around 171 g and supports 4G LTE networks upto category 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes with Android 5.1 out of the box and update to Android Marshmallow is expected soon. It has almost all connectivity options including NFC and also has a fingerprint sensor and Gyro sensor for advanced movement tracking.

The S - Pen is an advanced stylus on the Note series and this time too it works almost flawlessly and makes editing and creating new stuff a breeze!

The phone would be available in two storage variants i.e. 32 GB and 64 GB.

The former is priced at INR 53,900 and the 64 GB variant is priced at 59,900 INR.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 would be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colours and would be available to buy from September 20!
